New drug aims to stop deadly clots in cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07410117

Summary

This study is testing an experimental drug, REGN7508, to see if it can safely prevent blood clots in people with advanced solid tumors who are receiving cancer treatment. About 860 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo (inactive substance) to compare their effectiveness. The main goals are to see if the drug reduces the risk of blood clots and to monitor for any side effects.
