Doctors test common blood thinner after C-Sections in small trial

NCT ID NCT06118957

Summary

This small, completed study aimed to see if it's practical to run a larger trial comparing a blood thinner injection to no treatment for preventing blood clots after a cesarean delivery. It enrolled 64 people who had a C-section at one hospital. The main goal was to check if enough eligible people would agree to be randomly assigned to either receive the medication or not, not to prove if the medication works.
