Home blood thinner study aims to find easier, cheaper option after major cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT06243510

Summary

This study is comparing two different blood-thinning medications that patients take at home after surgery to remove their bladder for cancer. Researchers want to see which medication patients are better at taking regularly, which one they prefer, and what the typical cost is for each. About 90 patients who have had this specific surgery will be assigned to take one of the two medications for 30 days and answer questions about their experience.
