Scientists hunt clues to prevent blood cancers in cancer survivors

Summary
This study aims to understand why some people who have been treated for cancers like ovarian cancer later develop blood cancers or disorders. Researchers will observe 2,000 patients who have had certain cancer treatments to look for genetic and other risk factors. They will collect blood samples and review medical records to learn how to better predict and potentially prevent these secondary health issues.
