New shot offers hope for kids battling tough leukemia

Summary

This study is testing a new, under-the-skin injection of a drug called blinatumomab in children under 12 years old with a type of blood cancer called B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) that has come back or hasn't responded to other treatments. The main goals are to see if this injection method is safe and if it can help put the cancer into remission. The study will also look at how the drug moves through the body.
