New hope for women after miscarriage: gentler treatment tested to stop bleeding and protect fertility

NCT ID NCT07206342

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to treat dangerous bleeding that can happen after a miscarriage. Researchers will compare two procedures: one that blocks blood vessels alone, and another that combines that with a scraping of the uterus. They want to see if the simpler procedure works just as well to stop bleeding and is safer for a woman's future chances of having a baby. The study will follow 110 women for one year to check for complications and track their recovery.
