Scientists test which hospital blanket is the coziest

NCT ID NCT06198959

Summary

This study aimed to measure how much heat is lost or gained when people use different full-body warming blankets connected to different warming machines. Researchers tested four warming devices and five blankets on 20 healthy adult volunteers. They measured heat transfer at 15 spots on the body to see which systems worked best at keeping people warm.
