First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests a redesigned surgical tool for removing bladder tumors. The goal is to see if it gives doctors better information about the tumor, such as whether all layers are removed and if cancer cells remain at the edges. About 25 adults who need their bladder removed will take part. The modified device is used on the removed bladder in the operating room, and the samples are reviewed as usual.
