First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests if using a special thermometer in the bladder to guide body temperature control helps people recover from a severe bleeding stroke. About 308 adults with deep coma will be randomly assigned to either this new method or standard armpit temperature checks. The main goal is to see if more patients achieve good functional recovery 180 days later.
