Researchers test if simple bladder scan can replace uncomfortable tests
NCT ID NCT07419165
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple ultrasound scan of the bladder wall could provide similar information to more invasive urodynamic tests in people with spinal cord injury. Researchers measured the bladder thickness of 116 participants using an external ultrasound and compared it to results from standard bladder function tests. The goal was to see if the scan could be a quicker, more comfortable way to monitor bladder health and guide care.
