First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having a full or empty bladder during radiation therapy for pelvic cancers (like prostate, gynecological, or colorectal) causes fewer side effects. About 300 adults getting radiation will be assigned to one of the two bladder protocols. The goal is to see which approach leads to less bladder and bowel toxicity within 3 months after treatment.
