Radiation side effects: is an empty bladder the answer?

NCT ID NCT06651697

Summary

This study aims to find out if having an empty bladder during radiation therapy for pelvic cancers causes fewer side effects than the current standard of having a full bladder. It will enroll 300 adults with pelvic cancers who are receiving radiation with curative intent. Participants will be randomly assigned to follow either an 'empty bladder' or 'full bladder' protocol during their treatment to directly compare the results.
