Could a common bladder pill help save eyesight?
NCT ID NCT07305298
Summary
This study is testing if a medication called Mirabegron, usually used for overactive bladder, can help slow down vision loss in people with dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Researchers will compare it to another standard bladder drug over 12 months. The goal is to see if the drug can protect the structure of the retina in older adults who have both conditions.
