Could a common bladder pill help save eyesight?

Summary
This study is testing if a medication called Mirabegron, usually used for overactive bladder, can help slow the progression of dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of vision loss. Researchers will compare it to another bladder drug (Solifenacin) in 312 older adults who have both conditions. Participants will take one of the pills daily for a year while their eye health is monitored.
