Urine test could help patients stop cancer treatment sooner

NCT ID NCT07475403

Summary

This study is testing whether a urine test that detects cancer DNA can help doctors decide when to safely stop immunotherapy in patients with a high-risk form of bladder cancer that cannot be fully removed by surgery. About 53 patients will receive immunotherapy and be monitored with the urine test along with standard exams. The goal is to see if patients who respond well can safely receive a shorter course of treatment, potentially reducing side effects while still controlling the cancer.
