Major trial tests if adding immunotherapy can stop bladder Cancer's return

Summary
This large, global study is testing whether adding a new immunotherapy drug called durvalumab to the standard BCG treatment works better than BCG alone for people with high-risk bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the muscle wall. The main goal is to see if the combination helps patients stay cancer-free for longer and prevents the cancer from becoming more invasive. Over 1,000 participants who haven't had BCG treatment recently are being randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or the standard treatment.
