New pill could help stop bladder cancer from coming back

Summary

This study is testing if adding a daily pill called bicalutamide to the standard BCG bladder wash treatment can better prevent cancer from returning. It will involve about 160 men with early-stage bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the muscle. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard BCG treatment alone or the BCG treatment plus bicalutamide pills for three months.
