New test aims to predict who wins the fight against bladder cancer

NCT ID NCT06738797

Summary

This study is testing a new laboratory method called SPHERTEST to see if it can predict whether a patient's advanced bladder cancer will respond to immunotherapy drugs. Researchers will grow tiny 3D tumor models using cells from 32 patients and see how they react to immunotherapy in a dish. The goal is to match the test results with how well the patients actually do on their real-world treatment, hoping to find a better way to choose the right therapy.
