Urine test could personalize bladder cancer treatment, potentially shortening therapy
NCT ID NCT07475403
Summary
This study is testing whether a urine test that detects cancer DNA can help doctors decide how long to continue immunotherapy in patients with a high-risk form of bladder cancer that cannot be fully removed by surgery. Participants will receive immunotherapy, and if their cancer disappears, they will get a short additional course before stopping treatment, guided by the urine test results. The goal is to see if this shorter, personalized treatment plan can still effectively control the cancer.
