Gene therapy infused into bladder aims to boost cancer fight before surgery
NCT ID NCT07332351
Summary
This study is testing if adding a new gene therapy to the standard pre-surgery treatment can better control muscle-invasive bladder cancer. The gene therapy is placed directly into the bladder to help the body's own cells produce a cancer-fighting protein. Researchers will see if this combination is safe and if it helps eliminate more cancer before patients have their bladder surgically removed.
