Experimental drug duo tested in advanced bladder cancer patients

NCT ID NCT04004442

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether combining two drugs—avelumab and AVB-S6-500—is safe for people with advanced bladder cancer that has spread or can't be surgically removed. The trial involves 19 participants who have already tried standard platinum-based chemotherapy. Researchers will monitor patients closely to find the highest dose they can tolerate while checking if the combination helps control the cancer.
