Intensive chemo tested to shrink tumors before bladder removal
NCT ID NCT07184021
Summary
This study is testing a more intensive schedule of two chemotherapy drugs (gemcitabine and cisplatin) given before surgery to remove the bladder. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and effective at shrinking tumors in patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer. Researchers hope this will lead to better long-term outcomes by treating cancer cells that may have spread before surgery.
