Could lying down boost bladder cancer treatment?
NCT ID NCT07474519
Summary
This study is testing whether a patient's body position (lying down, sitting, or moving freely) affects how long they can hold a liquid BCG treatment inside their bladder. Researchers want to see if changing position helps patients, especially those with limited mobility or strong urinary symptoms, keep the treatment in longer to potentially make it work better. About 40 people with a specific type of bladder cancer will try three different positions during their standard BCG treatments while wearing a fitness tracker.
