First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding furosemide, a diuretic that increases urine flow, to a special PET/CT scan can reduce bladder radioactivity and improve detection of recurrent prostate cancer in 20 men whose PSA levels have risen after prostate removal. The goal is to see if this approach helps doctors spot hidden cancer more clearly.
