Bismuth boost: could a common mineral improve ulcer treatment in kids?

Summary

This study looks at whether adding bismuth to the usual treatment helps clear H. pylori infection and heal stomach or duodenal ulcers in children. About 80 kids will take either a standard regimen or one with bismuth for 14 days, then take additional acid-reducing medicine for 2-4 weeks. Researchers will compare how well each group clears the infection and track side effects.
