Can a common mineral boost ulcer treatment in kids?

Summary

This study looks at whether adding bismuth to the usual treatment helps clear H. pylori infection and heal stomach or duodenal ulcers in children. About 80 children will receive either a regimen with or without bismuth for 14 days, then take additional medication for 2-4 weeks. Researchers will compare infection clearance rates, side effects, and cost-effectiveness.
