First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether letting first-time mothers move freely during labor can reduce the chance of an unplanned C-section. About 714 low-risk women will either get standard care or use a special mobility system. Researchers will track labor length, pain relief use, and how satisfied mothers are with their birth experience.
