Digital therapy aims to tame Bipolar's emotional rollercoaster

NCT ID NCT07239778

Summary

This study is testing a new group therapy program called PEDAL, designed to help people with bipolar disorder manage rapid and intense mood swings. It combines traditional group sessions with new digital tools like an app-based mood diary and online skills training. Researchers will compare PEDAL to standard group therapy to see if it better reduces these mood swings and improves stress, symptoms, and quality of life.
