Summary
This study is testing if a more intense medication approach works better for people with bipolar depression when their first treatment fails. It will compare a stronger, three-drug combination given early against the usual second-choice treatment. The goal is to see if this faster, more aggressive strategy improves symptoms, quality of life, and functioning over six weeks.
