Bionic pancreas could ease diabetes burden in cystic fibrosis

Summary
This study tests whether an automated insulin pump (the iLet Bionic Pancreas) can help people aged 14 and older with cystic fibrosis-related diabetes keep their blood sugar in a healthy range. About 150 participants will either use the pump or their usual insulin method for 13 weeks, then everyone can try the pump. The goal is to see if the pump improves blood sugar control and reduces dangerous lows.
