Fingerprint tech aims to stop kids missing Life-Saving malaria shots
NCT ID NCT07261280
Summary
This study is testing a new digital system that uses fingerprint identification to help more children in Ghana complete their full set of vaccines. The system tracks children's vaccination records and alerts health workers when a child is behind schedule, while also sending voice message reminders to parents. Researchers will measure if this approach increases the number of children who get all four doses of the malaria vaccine and other recommended childhood immunizations.
