Fingerprint IDs aim to boost malaria vaccine completion in ghana

NCT ID NCT07261280

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a digital vaccination record system linked to fingerprints can help more children in Ghana complete their malaria vaccine series and other routine shots. About 4,700 pregnant women and mothers of young children will take part. The system will automatically identify children who are behind on vaccines and send reminders to caregivers, so health workers can reach out to them.
