NCT ID NCT06549894

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study measures the muscle forces experienced by gastroenterologists during a procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), which removes early-stage cancers without surgery. Ten doctors will be monitored to understand how their muscles move during the procedure. The goal is to identify risks for musculoskeletal disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome and neck pain, and to improve future recommendations for doctor comfort.
