Summary
This study looks for early warning signs (biomarkers) in the blood of children with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM), a type of brain inflammation. The goal is to predict which children will have relapses, so doctors can start treatments sooner to prevent long-term problems. Researchers will analyze immune cells from blood samples of 20 children aged 1 to 18 years.
