First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers that can predict whether a patient with squamous cell carcinoma (of the esophagus, cervix, lung, or head and neck) will respond to treatment with PD-1 inhibitors, a type of immunotherapy. Researchers will analyze blood and tumor tissue samples from 800 patients to develop a scoring system. The goal is to better match patients to effective treatments and avoid unnecessary side effects.
