Scientists search for better warning signs in dialysis patients

NCT ID NCT07170761

Summary

This study aims to find better blood markers that can predict heart, bone, and blood vessel problems in people receiving long-term kidney dialysis. Researchers are observing 475 stable dialysis patients to see how different markers relate to future health events like heart attacks, fractures, and hospitalizations. The goal is to improve understanding of disease patterns, not to test a new treatment.
