First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study is collecting blood samples, brain wave data, and medical information from over 1,000 people with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy (JME) across the UK, Europe, and North America. Researchers will compare this data with anonymous samples from 2,000 people without JME. The goal is to find the genetic causes of JME, which could lead to earlier detection and better treatments.
