First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at how well different biologic medications work for people with moderate-to-severe inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) after one year of treatment. Researchers will track whether patients achieve remission without steroids, need fewer hospital stays or surgeries, and show healing on colonoscopy. About 95 adults in Upper Egypt will take part, receiving one of four standard biologic drugs.
