New study aims to unlock secrets of rare breast cancer complication

Summary

This study is for people with breast cancer that has spread to the lining of the brain and spinal cord, a condition called leptomeningeal disease. The goal is to collect tissue samples and health information to better understand this aggressive cancer and to see if a rapid expert review can speed up treatment recommendations. About 30 adults will take part, and while there is no direct treatment, participants may benefit from faster access to personalized advice.
