Can video games for your throat help stroke survivors eat safely again?

NCT ID NCT05591040

Summary

This study is testing whether adding visual biofeedback to standard swallowing therapy helps stroke survivors recover their ability to swallow more effectively. Researchers will recruit 100 people who have swallowing problems after a stroke. Half will receive therapy with a screen showing their throat muscle activity, while the other half will receive standard therapy with only verbal instructions from a therapist.
