First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a biofeedback-based balance training program to standard physical therapy helps people who had a stroke more than six months ago. Thirty-six participants were split into two groups: one received only standard rehab, and the other received standard rehab plus the interactive balance training for eight weeks. The goal was to see if the extra training improved balance, reduced fall risk, and increased independence in daily life.
