Drug copycat test: does the new pill work the same?
NCT ID NCT06768619
Summary
This study tested if a new version of a drug called eltrombopag, used to treat low platelet counts, works the same way in the body as the original version. It involved 36 healthy Chinese volunteers who took both versions of the pill after a meal. The main goal was to compare how the two pills are absorbed and processed by the body to see if they are equivalent.
