First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at two ways to treat deep cavities in baby molars that have caused irreversible pulpitis (nerve damage). One method uses a special cement (Biodentine) to cap the nerve, while the other removes the nerve entirely and fills the root with a paste (Metapex). The goal was to see which approach works better at keeping the tooth healthy and pain-free. The study included 28 children aged 4-9 years.
