New 'Smart' fillings put to the test in 9-Month dental study
NCT ID NCT07394751
Summary
This study aims to see how well three new 'bioactive' dental filling materials perform over 9 months compared to a standard composite filling. It involved 20 people who each had two cavities in molars on the same side of their jaw. Researchers placed different fillings and checked them over time to see how they held up in terms of function, appearance, and tooth health.
