Summary
This study tested a special feature in a heart device (CRT-D) that automatically adjusts the timing and pacing settings to help the heart pump better. 198 people with heart failure, a wide QRS, and low heart pumping ability took part. The goal was to see if this automatic feature improves symptoms, quality of life, and reduces hospital visits over 12 months.
