Summary
This study tested whether a medication called BP1.4979 could help reduce binge eating episodes in women with moderate to severe binge eating disorder. Over 8 weeks, 67 participants received either the active drug or a placebo pill to compare effects. Researchers measured changes in weekly binge eating frequency and quality of life to see if the treatment was effective and safe.
