Can sound waves heal an Athlete's mind? new study tests audio therapy for injury fear

NCT ID NCT07370636

Summary

This study aims to see if listening to special audio tones called 'binaural beats' can help professional athletes who have recovered from a leg injury but are still afraid of getting hurt again. Researchers will compare the effects of these tones to placebo sounds and regular music over four weeks. They will measure changes in fear levels, body stress responses, and fitness in 66 young athletes.
