First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether changing the frequency settings in a cochlear implant can improve sound quality and speech understanding for people who use both a cochlear implant and a hearing aid. About 24 adults who have had their implant for at least 6 months will try two different settings and report which sounds better. The goal is to find a way to make listening easier and more enjoyable.
