Researchers examine how treatment setbacks affect cancer care duration
NCT ID NCT07101874
Summary
This study looked back at the medical records of 730 patients in Japan with advanced bile duct cancer who received standard drug treatment. Researchers wanted to understand if serious bile duct complications that required hospital stays affected how long patients could continue their treatment. The goal was to gather real-world information to help improve future care for this type of cancer.
