New hope for Tough-to-Treat bile duct cancer: testing a promising drug duo

NCT ID NCT07146646

Summary

This study is testing if a new combination of chemotherapy drugs works better than the current standard for advanced bile duct cancer when the first treatment stops working. It combines a pill called trifluridine/tipiracil with an IV drug called oxaliplatin. The goal is to see if this combo can better control the cancer's growth and improve survival for patients who have few options.
